ADC Shopian reviews functioning of revenue department.

 

Shopian, June,5: Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Samnani today reviews the functioning of Revenue department discussed revenue related matters here at mini secretariat Arhama Shopian.
Among others the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Zainapora, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and other concerned officials.
ADC emphasized upon the revenue officers that there should be complete thrust on fast track service with proper focus on providing the necessary helping hand to needy and to ensure time bound redressal of public grievances and compilation of all pending works.
On the occasion ADC said that Digitization of land records should be completed before 15th of July. Jamabandi preparation should be done on priority with proper verification with regard to entries and the consonance with the Aks Laatha and Revenue work should be given top priority and issues should be dealt with utmost dedication and honesty.
He also reviewed the progress on the removal of encroachment on state/kahcharie/Common land. He also directed for keeping strict vigil to prevent all types of encroachments.
Discussion was held pertaining to the matters like preparation of jamabandis, writing of register khasra girdawaris, progress on account attestation of mutation, progress of removal of encroachments from state, kahcharie, besides the progress of registration of beneficiaries under PM KISAN was also reviewed.
On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner stressed the Revenue officials to work with added zeal and enthusiasm. He said that the Department holds key for efficient and effective grievance redressal in the district adding that a total commitment is required to achieve the set administrative targets. Laying special emphasis on implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act and Right to Information Act in letter and spirit, the ADC directed the concerned officers to maintain a proper record of applications received and disposed thereof.”
